Philly Marathon Training W6D1
I didn’t post this morning, but I did in fact get my run in this morning. An easy 4 this morning that once again didn’t feel so easy after a late night last night at a concert with the husband.
As I didn’t get to take a selfie of my smiling face after the run this morning, here is Anthony’s smiling face. We had to take him in for an EEG due to the seizure he had last week (which interestingly was 7 years to the exact day that he had his first). I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about, but they just wanted to do the EEG as a precautionary measure as typically kids grow out of febrile seizures by 5 or 6 and he is now 8. I’m not sure when we will hear the results, but for now, I’m going to assume the best and not lose sleep over it.
So, I didn’t get on tumblr today because I was busy with the EEG, the boys’ birthday celebrations, and the boys’ football. Tomorrow I return to work after a busy vacation. Not gonna lie, definitely not looking forward to it. I also have a speed workout tomorrow which I am going to try to get up before work for. We’ll see if that happens. I am wearing my running clothes as my pj’s so that should help.
Time to get to sleep, morning will be here before I know it. So, there will be no catching up on my dash until tomorrow evening most likely. I am at 9,999 likes right now. Who will be the lucky recipient of number 10,000? Actually, I guess it won’t be that much of an honor as I tend to be a serial liker. ;-)
Okay, Tumblrs, before I go to bed, I have a bit of a math problem for you. If it takes me about 15 minutes to get out the door and I have to run 12 x 400 intervals at 2:28 target pace with 2:00 recovery and a warm-up and cool-down mile (maybe a 12:00 pace?) and I need to be home to get ready for work at 5:30, what time do I need to get up?
Good night all!
Target pace: 12:05-12:55
Actual pace: 12:04
