Philly Marathon Training W10D6
I hang my head in shame as I have to tell the treadmill that although I have declared my love in the past, I have to say that although I love you, I am not in love with you. It’s not you, it’s me. Well, maybe it is you. However, I am forever grateful that you are always there in my time of need. It sure does beat drowning in the rain or getting struck down by lightning.
Between my treadmill and my foot pod, I have no idea what my true pace was. The foot pod was ALL over the place on this one. However, it did feel like I was in the ball park of where I should be. That weird pain in my leg yesterday, I felt intermittently during the first two miles. Then I forgot about it. So, hopefully, it’s nothing and is a thing of the past. I don’t need injury creeping in with only 8 weeks left.
So, this 10 mile run brought my weekly total up to 46 miles. The upcoming week will be 53.5 miles made up of easy 5, 6 x 1 mile strength, 8 mile tempo, easy 5, easy 8, long 16.
Still waiting for word on whether my daughter’s cheerleading will be canceled as the rain is supposed to clear up later. Is it terrible that I am kind of hoping that it is canceled?
Hope you all have a great Sunday! Oh yeah and go Patriots!
