Philly Marathon Training W11D6
If you saw my post from earlier this morning, you know it takes a lot of hard work to look this good. Sixteen miles to be exact.
Another strong run to finish out the week. My highest mileage week ever and first over 50 miles at a total of 53.5 miles. Did you know that a mere two years ago, I wouldn’t have been able to run 20 seconds consecutively? Never would have thought I’d churn out this kind of mileage, ever. And still feel good too.
Next week the mileage cuts back a bit to total 49 miles made up of easy 5, strength 4 x 1.5 miles, 9 mile tempo, easy 5, easy 8, and long 10.
Now it’s time to go get ready to go apple picking. Or as I like to call it, “Watch my family pick apples and then eat apple crisp.”
