Philly Marathon Training W15D4
Easy 6 this morning. A cold, cold, cold 6 miles. And it’s only going to get colder as winter approaches. Yay! My treadmill and I are sure to get up close and personal again when I train for the Boston Marathon.
As I mentioned the other day, I am going to have a scheduling issue with my 16 scheduled for Sunday. I would need to be done with the run by 5:15 or 5:30 (in the morning) at the latest. And for a 3+ hour run that’s just not going to happen. Whereas I have until 6:30 tomorrow morning to get it done before heading off to the boys’ football game. So, I think that I am going to switch the 6 I have scheduled for tomorrow with Sunday’s 16. We’ll see if I follow through with that. It still will require a fairly early start.
Thank you all again for your continued support of my fundraising efforts for my Boston Marathon bid in support of HOPe. Yesterday was another successful day and I am now up to $741 raised towards my $5000 goal. I know the marathon is still 6 months away, but the more I can raise now, the less stressful training will be as the Boston Marathon approaches. I truly appreciate every bit you can and have done to help out the efforts! Now, as I mentioned, I will be putting the no pressure fundraising pitch on my training runs so that you all will have easy access to my fundraising link.
No-Pressure Fundraising Pitch
If you would like to donate to my fundraising efforts so I can represent HOPe at the 2014 Boston Marathon, DONATE HERE. If I could ask one favor though, I like to keep my real life people (namely my Mom) out of my tumblr life, so when donating, could you please use an actual name rather than your tumblr name? If you don’t want to use your full name, you could use just a first name. Heck, you don’t even have to use your own name! Just, please send me a message to let me know what name you used, so that I know who to thank. Thank you for your support of me and Team HOPe!
Happy Friday! I hope you all have a great day!
